Emergency & Exit Lighting
Code and Maintenance Requirements
Emergency Lighting & Exit Lighting are required to be maintained in operable condition at all times. Additionally, they are required to be inspected monthly and annually. While the Manitoba Fire Code does spell out the tests required to be performed, it does not require an inspection report be provided. Pyrene provides extra protection to our clients by supplying a report which confirms the execution of ALL of the required tests. Additionally, our inspection includes the verification of operability, and respective documentation of each and every light fixture, even though it is also not required by Code. While this is not standard practice in the industry, to us, it is just common sense. Please contact our office for more information on the maintenance requirements of your specific equipment.
Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba employs only trained technicians, and insists all staff be a City of Winnipeg Fire Protection/Life Safety Licensed Service Person. We have multiple emergency lighting & exit lighting service personnel ready to respond to your service request 24 hours a day.
Even though we service all makes and models, Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba is proud to be a warranty depot for many of Canada’s largest emergency lighting manufacturers including Lumacell, Emergi-Lite, Ready-Lite, Uniglo and Beghelli.
